Registration is slated to open early July.

The registration fee for JFPS 2026 is $250 for APhA members and $300 for nonmembers.

Alcoholic beverage policy

In keeping with pharmacy's role as a health profession, JFPS de-emphasizes the consumption of alcohol. Please provide proper identification when required.

Arrangements for persons with disabilities

Scooters and wheelchairs are available for rental. Reserve your equipment in advance to ensure your needs can be accommodated. If you have a disability for which you may require an auxiliary aid or special service, please contact mmeehan@aphanet.org by October 12, 2026.

Attire

The Opening Reception and Signature Events are both casual. 

For the remainder of the meeting, uniform protocols are below:

US Air Force

  • Duty uniform: Service Uniform (any combination of blue shirt/blouse and skirt/pants)
  • Duty uniform for speakers/moderators: Service Dress Uniform

U.S. Army

  • Duty uniform: Service Uniform (ASU) Class B
  • Duty uniform for speakers/moderators: Service Uniform (ASU) Class A
  • Optional for attendees: Service Uniform (ASU) Class A

U.S. Navy

  • Duty uniform: Service Khaki
  • Duty uniform for speakers/moderators: Service Dress Blue
  • Optional for attendees: Service Dress Blues

U.S. Coast Guard

  • Duty uniform for JFPS: Tropical Blue Short Sleeve
  • Duty uniform for speakers/moderators: Service Dress Blue
  • Optional for attendees: Service Dress Blue

U.S. Public Health Service

  • Duty uniform: Service Khaki
  • Duty uniform for speakers/moderators: Service Dress Blue
  • Optional for attendees: Service Dress Blues/Service Khaki

Civilian

  • Business dress

No cover/no salute required

JFPS 2026 attendees in uniform are required to wear the appropriate head gear and render a salute when protocol would require such courtesy outside of the conference hotels.

Badges and tickets
  • Please wear your name badge at all times during the business hours of the seminar. Your badge serves as your passport to JFPS 2026 activities.
  • Registration is required for all social events. Social events are included with attendee, guest, and exhibitor registrations. Nonregistered guests may register for social events at the Registration Desk.
  • Lost badges incur a $15 replacement fee at registration.
Challenge coin

In the tradition of JFPS, attendees are provided a unique and collectible coin to commemorate their participation at JFPS. Each year, a new coin is designed to reflect the meeting site as well as the theme.

Children

Please note that children under the age of 18 years are not permitted in the education sessions or the Exposition (including the Opening Reception in the Exposition). This includes children in strollers and carriers.

Education and CPE

Attendees can earn up to 20 CPE credits. JFPS 2026 Education will be held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center.

Filming and photography

Portions of JFPS 2026 may be recorded for web casting and other marketing/education purposes. Unauthorized audiotaping and videotaping are prohibited.

Hotel assistance

The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center is where all official JFPS activities will be held. Book your hotel now.

Once on site in the National Harbor, please refer to the front desk of the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center for general assistance. For any urgent issues with official JFPS hotels, a representative from the JFPS Hotel Reservation Office at Expovision is available at 888-876-2742.

Mobile APP

The Mobile APP will launch in mid-October; an email communication will be sent with instructions when the app launches.

Moment of reflection

Award events, general sessions, and other events may begin with a moment of reflection. We would like to give you an opportunity to reflect or express your thoughts in your own personal way by pausing for a moment of silence and reflection.

Recording

Any person who attends an APhA event grants permission to APhA as well as its employees and agents (collectively “APhA”) to record his or her visual/audio images, including but not limited to photographs, digital images, voices, sound or video recordings, audio clips, or accompanying written descriptions, and, without notifying such person, to use their name and such images for any purpose of APhA, including advertisements for APhA and its programs.

The JFPS 2026 Registration Desk is located in the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center and will be open:

  • Sunday, November 16: 0730–1900
  • Monday, November 17: 0630–1700
  • Tuesday, November 18: 0630–1500
