Quality Measurement for Pharmacy

Description

As we move toward a more fully-integrated, value-based health care system that prioritizes the outcomes patients want, it is important to align quality measurement across the care continuum. This session describes quality measures evaluating the safe and appropriate use of medications, as well as PQA’s roadmap for developing patient-centric, pharmacy-specific measures focused on medication therapy and pharmacy services. The ultimate goal of these measures is to improve quality of care while aligning with measures and incentives across the health care continuum.
