Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs: Panel Discussion

Description

Patient safety is enhanced when prescribers of controlled substances have complete information on controlled substances prescribed by the totality of a patient’s providers. This panel presentation explores the various Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs (PDMPs) across federal pharmacy. Panelists representing VA, MHS, and PHS discuss the development and implementation of their respective PDMPs.
