MHS GENESIS Update

Description

Representatives of the Military Health System (MHS) and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM) present the latest information on the implementation of the DoD’s modernized electronic health record (EHR), MHS GENESIS, as well as the VA and United States Coast Guard transition to the same EHR, ensuring interoperability and seamless care for beneficiaries. This keynote presentation includes a discussion about goals, initiatives, initial implementation successes, lessons learned, and the current and future state of the MHS GENESIS project.
