Dust off your boots, grab your hat, and come celebrate America’s original sport—rodeo! Our JFPS rodeo features cowboy musicians, a trick roper, and, of course, the most anticipated event of the evening—bull riding (mechanical, that is)!

This action-packed evening features true Texas hospitality with traditional rodeo fare for your enjoyment. Enjoy food and beer under the beer tent; a cash bar is also available. Be prepared to show ID.

Join your friends and colleagues for a bit of boot-scootin’ Texas-style! Dress is casual (jeans, boots and a big ole hat are encouraged). This event is outdoors so you may need a light jacket. Your badge is required for entrance.

Challenge Coin

In the tradition of JFPS, attendees are provided a unique and collectable coin in the registration bags to commemorate their participation at JFPS. Each year, a new coin is designed to reflect the meeting site as well as the theme.

Community Service Project: Patriot PAWS

The mission of Patriot PAWS is to train and provide service dogs of the highest quality at no cost to disabled American veterans and others with mobile disabilities and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in order to help restore their physical and emotional independence. Patriot PAWS builds partnerships with local, state and national organizations to help develop and support this goal.

Funds raised during JFPS 2019 support the training of these amazing animals and allows Patriot PAWS to continue their valuable mission. Donation bins are available at the entrance to the General Session and Exhibit Hall. Please consider a generous contribution!

The Cyber Café, located near the Registration Desk, offers complimentary access to the Internet to check email, download the latest schedule, link to exhibitors, and record CPE.

Who Attends

The Joint Federal Pharmacy Seminar (JFPS) is the largest annual event for federal pharmacy.  Uniformed and civil-service pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are invited to participate in this education and training-filled event. The American Pharmacists Association, working with the federal pharmacy advisors, coordinates the education and meeting activities and serves as the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) provider.
