Pharmacy Technician Supervisor

Ms. Joni Wardosky CPhT is a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor over pharmacy operations for Irwin Army Community Hospital and all outlying clinics. She oversees 17 technicians and is responsible for scheduling, DPMAP standards, competencies, and ATAAPS/DMHRSi. Joni believes in elevating certified technicians to the top of their professional license. She supports certified technicians and independent immunizers. Even with staffing shortages, she provides seven certified technicians time to complete CP53 funded training.
As the IACH Pharmacy Services Lean Daily Management unit level coordinator, she uses her knowledge to collect and analyze baseline data to improve pharmacy performance and automation processes.
Ms. Wardosky started her federal service career in 2014 at Reynolds Army Community Hospital located in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. She joined Irwin Army Community Hospital in 2017, and became the Technician Supervisor in 2019. Ms. Wardosky has over 12 years of experience in varying pharmacy technician roles.
Joni presented and co-published the secure messaging pharmacy program at the 2019 JFPS.
