Hyun J. Cho, PharmD, BCPS, is a Major in the United States Army and is serving as the Interim Chief, Department of Pharmacy at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center at Bethesda, MD. MAJ Cho was commissioned as Captain in the United States Army in July 2014. His previous assignments include: Deputy Service Chief, Inpatient Pharmacy, PGY1 Pharmacy Resident, Service Chief, Navy Exchange Pharmacy at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, MD; Chief, Pharmacy/Laboratory/Radiology Services, Task Force Medical (14th Combat Support Hospital), Kosovo Forces-22 at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo in support of Operation Joint Guardian; Chief, Outpatient Pharmacy Services, Martin Army Community Hospital at Fort Benning, GA.
Prior to joining the Army, MAJ Cho worked at Walgreen Co. as a staff pharmacist in Southern Indiana/Western Kentucky. He holds PharmD after graduating from Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (Piscataway Campus) in May, 2012. He is a graduate of the Army Medical Department Basic Officer Leader Course and later Captains Career Course at Joint Base-San Antonio, TX.
