LT Staci Jones is a native of Nashua, NH. She graduated from Nashua High School in 2004 and joined the Navy on October 27th.
Following graduation from recruit training, she completed MM “A” School, Nuclear Power School, and Power Unit Training in Goose Creek, SC.
LT Jones’s initial tour was on board the USS JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN-74) from 2006-2010. Here she completed two Western Pacific deployments, participating in both Operations IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM. She qualified Surface and Air Warfare, Watch Supervisor, and Quality Assurance Supervisor. For Reactor Mechanical division, she was the Leading Petty Officer for Number Two Propulsion Plant during a six-month Shipyard period. For Reactor Training division, she was the Leading Chief Petty Officer and the Leading Petty Officer of the Drill Team.
From 2010-2014, LT Jones served at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command. There she qualified as an instructor, served as a Section Leading Petty Officer, qualified Master Training Specialist, earned an Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and completed a Bachelor of Science degree From Excelsior University in Liberal Studies.
LT Jones was then selected into the MSC-IPP to become a pharmacist. She attended the Medical University of South Carolina from 2014-2018 and was the valedictorian of her class.
LT Jones’s first assignment as a pharmacist is at Walter-Reed National Military Medical Center. There she served as the Division Officer of the Navy Exchange Pharmacy, Chief of Formulary Management for the National Capital Region, and is in the process of completing a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency.
LT Jones’s personal awards include the Navy-Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 awards), Good Conduct Medal (4 awards), Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and various unit, campaign, and service awards.
LT Jones currently resides in Bethesda, MD with her two children, Caralyn (8) and Samantha (7) with her mother Deborah White.
