Pharmacist

Mr. Alan Hall is a staff pharmacist, 75th Medical Support Squadron, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. In addition to his dispensing responsibilities in two pharmacies, he is a patient safety coach, the primary investigator on a clinical study, coordinator for the pharmacy student rotation program at the pharmacy, and he leads a team of over 20 pharmacy technicians and numerous volunteers in the execution of the pharmacy mission each day. Mr. Hall supports the operations of the busiest pharmacy in the 4 state area including a $16 Million budget that generates 350K prescriptions for 75,000 beneficiaries each year.
Mr. Hall entered public service in October 2009. His entire tenure as a federal employee has been at Hill as a member of the pharmacy team.
Before entering public service, Mr. Hall worked in the private sector as a pharmacist in chain, independent, and long term care/hospice pharmacy settings. Most recently he was employed at Care First Pharmacy, servicing a variety of long term care and hospice agencies throughout Utah.
Mr. Hall attended the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah for pre-pharmacy course work and was later accepted into the college of pharmacy at the University of Utah. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in May 2000.
