Michael W. Davison, BA, PMP, USAF Pharmacy Program Manager, is a contractor supporting the Pharmacy Consultant to USAF/SG. In this role, he provides direct analytical, conceptual, technical and program management support to the Pharmacy Consultant to the AF/SG. Assists with administering, planning, establishing and directing policy for all pharmacy activities in relationship to AFMS, DoD, and civilian organizations. Assists on special projects as needed, to include data research and analysis, program and policy development, metric development and monitoring on behalf of the Pharmacy Consultant to the AF/SG. Reviews/comments/coordinates on tasks, studies, briefings, legislation, and programs impacting the AFMS. Prepares and delivers detailed responses, briefings and/or demonstrations of analyses. Recommends, develops, and coordinates new or revised policy, instructions, manuals, and technical documents to support AF pharmacy programs. Develops and proposes modifications to the current pharmacy program to improve process, efficiency, quality, and customer service.
Prior to working with the AF pharmacy community, Mr. Davison served in the AFMS Engine Room, advising AFMS leadership on strategic resource management and on the execution and improvement of AFMS corporate structure processes.
While on active duty with the AF, Mr. Davison served as an Airborne Cryptologic Linguist (Russian) and Airborne Area Specialist, with over 3600 hours flying on a variety of aircraft including the RC-135 (Rivet Joint, Combat Sent, and Cobra Ball), P-3 (Orion), and E-3 (AWACS).
