Pharmacists see adult patients with schizophrenia in all care settings and there continues to be an expanded role for pharmacists in the administration of long-acting injectable (LAI) medications. APA practice guidelines for schizophrenia and recommendations support wider use of LAIs in adult patients with schizophrenia.1,2 This program will examine ways to discuss LAI treatment and present an effective LAI antipsychotic option for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults.
