This presentation will discuss the VHA’s Disaster Emergency Medical Personnel System (DEMPS) and the Mobile Pharmacy Units (MPU) as complementary programs for emergency response for internal VA and National Response Framework missions after a Presidential Disaster Declaration. The specific roles of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians will also be addressed.
