The one place to be in the federal pharmacy marketplace is the Joint Federal Pharmacy Seminar 2016 Exposition, a one-of-a-kind marketplace to visit and explore with approximately 100 companies exhibiting. JFPS is excited to offer 6 Presentation Theaters at JFPS 2016! Each Presentation Theater session provides attendees with an opportunity to ask product-specific questions of key experts and industry representatives, find out information on new pharmaceutical products and services, and learn the latest in data and research findings.

American Pharmacists Association Booth

APhA salutes federal pharmacists and technicians! APhA recognizes federal pharmacists and technicians by offering a discount on membership dues, plus you’ll receive 15 months of membership for the cost of 12 if you join as a new member at JFPS. Join or renew your membership and receive a free commemorative ceramic tile and other gifts. Stop by the APhA Member Desk outside the General Session meeting room for more details on APhA—the leader in providing professional information, education, and advocacy for pharmacists in all practice settings.Learn more about APhA at pharmacist.com.

Business Center

The FedEx Office Print and Ship Center is open 0600-2100 daily. Self-serve Internet access, copying, printing, and faxing are available 24/7.

Challenge Coin

In the tradition of JFPS, attendees are provided a unique and collectable coin in the registration bags to commemorate their participation at JFPS. Each year, a new coin is designed to reflect the meeting site as well as the theme.

Children

Please note that children under the age of 18 (including children in strollers and carriers) are not permitted in the education sessions or the Exhibit Hall. This policy is in effect during the Opening Event in the Exhibit Hall.

Community Service Project: Paws for Veterans

logoWe are honored to support Paws for Veterans during JFPS 2016. They provide psychiatric service dogs, training, and therapeutic group sessions to Veteran and Active Duty men and women struggling with post traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury. Donation bins are available at the entrance to the General Session and Exhibit Hall. Please consider a generous contribution!

Cyber Café

The Cyber Café, located at the Woodrow Wilson Registration Desk, offers complimentary access to the Internet to check email, download the latest schedule, link to exhibitors, and record CPE.

No Cover/No Salute Required
The Gaylord National Hotel has been deemed "No Cover/No Salute Required." Therefore, all attendees in uniform are not required to wear head gear, cover, or hat and a salute is not required. However, attendees in uniform who leave the Gaylord National campus are required to wear the appropriate head gear and render a salute when protocol would require such courtesy.

Who Attends

The Joint Federal Pharmacy Seminar (JFPS) is the largest annual event for federal pharmacy.  Uniformed and civil-service pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are invited to participate in this education and training-filled event. The American Pharmacists Association, working with the federal pharmacy advisors, coordinates the education and meeting activities and serves as the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) provider.
