Army Pharmacy Service Line: Enterprise Guidance for 2018

Description

This presentation focuses on the Army Pharmacy Strategic Plan, including key leadership initiatives, policies, and updates from the Pharmacy Service Line.  Participants will gain valuable knowledge on pharmacy enterprise initiatives and metrics that will drive change and improvements throughout the Army and the Department of Defense, and understand their critical role in advancing the pharmacy practice and healthcare delivery.

Pharmacist Learning Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Define the strategic pillars associated with the Army Pharmacy strategic plan.
  2. Discuss the ways your MTF has implemented practices to achieve strategic objectives and actions to date.
  3. Describe new specific strategic plan objectives and actions that impact your pharmacy practice as a staff member/pharmacy leader.
  4. Discuss measures of performance and effect that are related to your pharmacy practice.
